Structure and Functionality
This tape consists of a foam layer with adhesive coating on both sides. The foam structure allows for large-area adhesion that better absorbs vibrations and movements than rigid adhesives. The tape is delivered on a roll with a paper core and is equipped with a red polyethylene film as a release liner, which is removed before application.
The thickness of 1.1 mm offers a balanced ratio between flexibility and stability. The tape is suitable for various materials – from plastic to metal to glass – and adheres permanently without leaving residues. Its high temperature resistance makes it particularly suitable for vehicle applications, where heat and cold fluctuate.
The tape is manufactured in a width of 610 mm and can be cut to size as needed. The standard length is 33 m, but it can also be customized. This makes it ideal for large series as well as specialized individual applications in the electronics, household appliances, and automotive industries.
